This video is on one of my favorite topics: Play!
Play is for all of us, not just the young in age! Dr. Stuart Brown, director of The National Institute for Play says “We are designed to play through our whole lifetimes.”
Jesus says “unless you change inwardly and have a complete turn around and become like little children, you won’t enter into My Kingdom.” (Matthew 18:30)
So, to become like little children is how we enter the Kingdom of God.
We were created to be children, to have fun, to be dependent on Jesus for every need, to live from our hearts and not from our heads.
There is a Hasidic saying: “When a child walks down the road, a company of angels goes before him proclaiming, ‘Make way for the image of the Holy One.’”
Just a few moments of Play can take you out of the “DIY (do it yourself), finish my to-do list” mindset into the realm of creativity and limitless possibility.
So go ahead and give yourself permission to Play. You were created for this. Play is the doorway into your future.
If you have a child in your life, that can be a big help. But even if you don’t, let yourself act goofy, skip, sing, imagine anything you want!
Wendy Alec, the founder of God TV, felt that the Lord said to her “The more you play, the more you rest as a little child in My presence, and the more healing of your body and your mind takes place. Rest … rest and play.”
Blessings to reclaim your childlike self, the real you, and to have lots of fun!
